Not enough snow for winter activities, so we used the rec center, the pool and the crafts center. Lots of fun, but ask about the weather conditions before you go as the roads were very muddy. Gotta love spring on the Rockies.
you can’t beat this place for price, views, lots of ski trails, and close to Mary Jane and Winter park skiing. we didn’t have #2, we had the wilderness cabin; 4 baths and lots of bedrooms. we cooked and they had a good set up for us- 2 refrigerators, 2 micros and all the rest. lots of kitchen. I’d recommend it.
Great vacation for our family. Even with cold rainy weather, there was plenty to do. We do prefer Estes over this site, just for the walkability for our little kids (ages 3 and 5). Kind of a bummer to have to drive from the cabin in to the activities areas. The cabin was better than expected - beds were comfortable and the fireplace and dishwasher were appreciated.
These camp sites are very spacious and clean. Our camp host's Teresa and Deb give me a tour of the facilities and camping area. It was my first time here and I will be coming back.
Great place to hang and ski for a few days. Cabins are clean and comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. Miles of groomed cross country tracks and only 15 minutes from Winter Park for down hilling.
This is our 2nd stay at Snow Mountain Ranch for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. In a lodge building which was perfectly fine. This time we decided to stay in a cabin with another couple. We like being able to cook our own meals and having common space to play games and socialize. The views are spectacular and the cabin is very comfortable.
Beautiful spot. We rented a 3bedroom cabin for one night for a wedding. The cabin was actually nicely updated, I thought it would be a bit more rugged. There is free WiFi in the cabins, fast enough to stream Netflix. Good because there is no tv. I was totally good with no tv. We'd like to come back in the summer and stay longer.
Snow Mountain Ranch is an excellent venue for family gatherings. Situated near Granby in the Rocky Mountains, it provides various accommodations, including lodges, cabins, and, during the summer, yurts and camping options. The location boasts a diverse range of activities, from cross-country skiing and archery to climbing and swimming. In winter, the Nordic center stands out with its impressive 100km of groomed trails, offering a fantastic experience for winter sports enthusiasts. The scenic surroundings and abundance of recreational options make it an ideal destination for families seeking both adventure and relaxation.
